Lourdes M. DelRosso, MD, PhD is Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at the University of California San Francisco in Fresno. SHe is also director of the World Sleep Academy, and Co-Chair of the World Sleep Day. 

Her area of research involves sleep related movement disorders. Has over 120 peer reviewed publications, 2 books and has participated in many invited lectures. REcently she received the Univirsity of Pennsylvania Kwame Nkrumah Distinguished Alumni Award.
